If you cannot find the QR code and UID on Argus PT/Go PT series cameras, please read this article to find possible solutions.

The printed QR code and UID number are placed at the bottom of the camera. You can scan the QR code or input the UID number to add the camera to Reolink App/Client and initialize your device. 

The picture below shows where the QR code is placed.

Possible Cause: The QR code is covered by the mounting plate.

As the mounting plate is firmly screwed to the camera base, you may find it hard to unscrew only with your hands.

Solution: Follow the step-by-step instructions here to take down the mounting plate.

Step 1. Attach the bracket to the mounting plate. Align the protrusion with the groove properly, then press down the bracket and turn it clockwise until you hear a click sound, which indicates the camera and the bracket are locked together.

Note: Make sure the camera doesn't fall if holding the bracket alone.

Step 2. With one hand holding the camera, turn the bracket handle counterclockwise until the bracket body and the plate can be removed together from the camera.

Step 3. Take down the bracket and you can check the QR code at the bottom of the camera.
