  • Is Reolink Client free?

    Yes, both the download and usage are completely free.

  • What is the difference between the Reolink App and the Reolink Client?

    The Reolink App is designed for mobile devices, allowing you to monitor Reolink devices and receive alarm notifications anytime, anywhere. Reolink Client is designed for desktop use (Windows and Mac), providing a comprehensive view of your Reolink devices on a larger screen.

  • What Reolink devices are compatible with Reolink Client?

    All Reolink devices are compatible. However, some older models (discontinued models with UID starting with XCP) require version 8.8.5 or earlier for better compatibility.

  • Which languages does Reolink Client support?

    English, 中文 (Chinese), 中文 (繁体), Русский (Russian), Deutsch (German), Italiano (Italian), Français, (French), 日本語 (Japanese), Polskie (Polish), 한국어 (Korean), Suomalainen (Finn), ไทย (Thai), Svenska (Swedish), Norsk (Norwegian), Српски (Serbian), Español (Spanish), Ελληνικά (Greek)

  • Is Reolink Client available for Linux systems?

    No. Currently, Reolink Client is only available for Mac and Windows systems and is not compatible with Linux. If your Reolink device supports HTTP/HTTPS protocols, you can access it through a web browser on a Linux system. Alternatively, you can use the mobile App to view the device.

  • Do I need to register a Reolink account to log in to Reolink Client?

    No. You do not need to register a Reolink account to use Reolink Client. Reolink Client currently does not have a Reolink Client login entrance.

  • Can I share my Reolink device(s) with others, or access the same device from multiple Reolink Clients?

    Yes. You can access the same Reolink device from multiple Reolink Clients or share the Reolink device with others. But there are limits to the simultaneous online users. You may refer to How Many Online Users can Live View the Camera at the Same Time

  • How do I update Reolink Client?

    Enable Automatic Client Updates in the Reolink Client settings. Click the gear icon in the top right corner on the Reolink Client to go to the Client Settings page. Then click System Settings and you will see the Automatic Client Update option.

  • Can I use Reolink Cloud on Reolink Client?

    No. You can only access Reolink Cloud via Reolink official website and Reolink App for now. Reolink Client doesn't support using Reolink Cloud currently.

  • Why is there no recording on the Playback page with the recording schedule set up properly?

    The Reolink Client only supports playback of recordings from the device's SD card or HDD. Please ensure that the recording schedule is configured from the camera/NVR/Home Hub in the device list on the left. The settings button in the upper right corner is for local recordings, which can only be played back using a local player. You can check the record path of local recordings and find the video files, then double-click to open with media players.

  • How many devices can be added and displayed on Reolink Client

    There is no limitation on the number of devices added to the new Client (Version: 8.1.20 or later). That's to say, you can add as many cameras and NVRs as you like to the new version Client. 

    For the previous version of Reolink Client (V7.2.2.20 or V7.2.2.33), the number of devices is limited to 32.

    Note: One NVR stands for one device.
