The solid orange status light on the back of the camera body indicates that the battery of the camera is charging, while the solid green light shows that the battery is fully charged. This article offers possible causes and solutions if the battery indicator LED on the camera flashes abnormally.

Description of the phenomenon: The battery LED on the back of the camera flashes green & orange or it flashes green & red alternately when you charge the camera. The battery of the camera fails to be charged or the camera can't be powered on.

Cause 1: The USB charging cable is not firmly connected to the charging port on the camera.

Solution: Replug the micro USB connector into the camera's charging port firmly to see if the problem is solved.

Cause 2: The USB charging cable might have something wrong.

Solution: Use another available USB charging cable for a try. Make sure this USB cable works well with other devices such as your phone.

Cause 3: The micro USB charging port of the camera is broken.

Solution: If you have excluded Cause 1 and Cause 2, the problem may be caused by the charging port on the camera, please contact our support team for further help.
