Symptoms for Flash Drive Not Recognized
When you insert a USB flash drive into the USB port to back up videos from the NVR, the USB flash drive is not recognized or the USB flash drive not working, and the prompt "Please insert a USB" shows up on the NVR monitor.
How to Fix USB Flash Drive Not Detected
1. Please make sure the USB stick can be recognized by the PC. Please also insert another USB flash drive into the USB port for a try. There is no limit on the size and capacity of the USB stick, but if your USB stick is relatively large, such as 1TB, it is recommended to change to a smaller-capacity USB stick.
2. Please change the USB port to test. There are 2 USB ports on RLN8-410/RLN16-410 and 3 USB ports on RLN36. You can insert it into all the USB ports one by one for a test.
3. Please format the USB flash drive to FAT32 on your PC and try again. Refer to how to convert the USB flash drive format to FAT32.
4. You can use the Client to download recordings. Refer to How to Download Recordings via Reolink Client
