With alarm delay, the camera alarm will be triggered only when the detected object stays in the detection zone longer than a set time. This article intends to guide you on how to set up alarm delay for your camera via a web browser.
Applies to: Reolink WiFi cameras and PoE cameras with smart detection (E1, E1 Pro, E Series E330, Lumus, Lumus Series E430, and cameras in NVR kit are excluded)
Step 1. Input the IP Address of your camera on a web browser and log in to your camera.
See how to find the IP address of your camera.
Note: Make sure your PC is connected to the same router as your camera.
Step 2. Click the Device Settings gear icon on the top right corner.
Step 3. Go to the Camera > Alarm Settings page. Scroll down to find Alarm Delay.
Slide the slider on each bar of the alarm types (Person/Vehicle/Pet; they may vary based on different camera models) to adjust the time (0-8secs) for triggering the camera alarm.
For example, in the picture above, when a person/vehicle/pet enters the detection zone and stays for more than 5 seconds, the camera alarm will be triggered.
