Can I use this camera with Synology?
Yes, this PoE IP camera can work with Synology. There are 2 methods for you to save videos in it.
Method 1 (recommended): You can add this camera to Synology Surveillance Station. Check this How to Add Reolink Cameras to Synology Surveillance Station to learn how to add a camera. Please note the camera and Synology device should be connected to the same local area network before settings.
Method 2: You can treat your Sunology device as an FTP server. For detailed steps of adding the FTP server, please refer to How to Set up FTP for Reolink Products. -
Can I use this camera with Reolink NVR?
Yes, this camera can be added to the Reolink NVR.

What ethernet cable can I use with the camera?
Our cameras support T-568B connectors and CAT5, CAT6, and CAT7 with 8 PIN Ethernet cables. You may buy an Ethernet cable like the one in the link below.

Can this camera support the Reolink Cloud storage service?
This camera cannot support Reolink Cloud for now.
At present, you can save clips to a micro SD card (up to 128GB) or FTP server. Or connect this camera to Reolink NVR to have 24/7continuous recordings. -
Can I use this camera with 3rd-party software?
Since the battery cameras don't support Onvif, RTSP, or related protocols, Reolink battery-powered cameras can't work with 3rd-party software.
Reolink battery-powered cameras can only work with Reolink software. You can go to the download center to download the Reolink app or client.

Can I use this camera with Blue Iris?
Yes, you can add the camera to Blue Iris according to How to Add Reolink Cameras to Blue Iris.

Does this camera support smart home like Google Assistant?
Yes, currently, this camera can work with Google Assistant.

Where are the recordings stored? Is NVR a must?
The camera can work without an NVR.
1. When it works without an NVR, the recordings can be saved to the Micro SD card (purchased separately).
2. When it works with an NVR, the recordings can be saved to the NVR. -
What kind of Micro SD card can I use?
This camera supports up to 256GB Micro SD cards with FAT32 format and Class 10 read & write speed.
