If your phone and your Reolink device are on different networks, you can add the Reolink products to the Reolink App remotely.

Note: Before adding a Reolink device, please download the Reolink App on your smartphone.

Generally, once you have set up the camera, you don’t need to add it again to access it remotely. However, if you want to add the camera remotely—for example, when you are in a different location, after deleting the camera and wanting to add it again, or if you want a family member or friend to add the camera from afar—you can add the device by manually entering the UID or IP address. You may follow the instructions below.

Step 1. Tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner to start the setup. Then tap Manual Input.

Step 2. Choose UID. Then enter the 16-digit UID number of your camera. Tap Next.

Please note that the cameras included in the security kit do not have UID, so they can't be added remotely through UID.

You can also add your device remotely via IP address. Before adding your device remotely through the IP address, you need first to forward ports on the router interface, so that you can get a WAN IP. Please refer to How to Forward Ports in Router Interface for Reolink Products for a detailed guide.

Step 3. Choose Have Wi-Fi Configured or Network Cable Connected? If your device is uninitialized or has been reset, please do the initial setup first.

Step 4. Enter the username and password of your camera. Tap Access.
