When viewing your camera in the Reolink App, you can manually take snapshots or record video clips at any time during Live View. The captured photos and recorded videos are saved locally on your mobile device for easy viewing and sharing. This article explains how to manually capture photos and record videos using the Reolink App.

Before you start: Make sure you have installed the latest Reolink App on your phone. To download the app, visit the Reolink Download Center.
1. How to Manually Capture Photos on Reolink App
Step 1. Open Live View. Launch the Reolink App and click the camera to enter the Live View page of the camera.
Step 2. Take a snapshot. On the Live View page, tap the icon to take a snapshot of the current camera view. The image will be automatically saved to your phone. And you could click Share to send to others.
2. How to Manually Record Videos on Reolink App
Step 1. Open Live View. Launch the Reolink App and click the camera to enter the Live View page of the camera.
Step 2. Start recording. On the Live View page, tap the Record icon to start recording.
Step 3. Stop recording. Tap the Record icon again to stop recording. The recorded video will be saved automatically to your mobile device. And you could click Share to send to others.
Notes:
- Manual snapshots and recordings can only be captured while viewing the camera in Live View.
- Make sure the Reolink App has permission to access your device's storage or Photos library; otherwise, the files may not be saved successfully.
After capturing a photo or recording a video, you can view the saved files on your mobile device.
- Android: Open your phone's Files app and locate the Reolink folder in the internal storage. For detailed instructions, refer to How to Find Manually Captured Photos and Recorded Videos on Android.
- iPhone/iPad: Open the Photos app to view the saved snapshots and recordings. Refer to How to Find the Files Mannually Recorded/Captured on iPhone.
