Experiencing unstable Wi-Fi connectivity or offline status on your Home Hub can be frustrating. This support article guides you through using the built-in "Diagnose" feature of your Reolink Home Hub to generate diagnostic logs.
Applies to: Reolink Home Hub Pro, Hub P1, Reolink Home Hub, Hub 1, Reolink Home Hub Mini, Hub 1 Lite and Reolink Home Hub 2
Step 1. Log in to your device on the Reolink App. Tap the icon >
icon to access the settings page.
Step 2. Tap Wi-Fi > Diagnose. Tap this button to start an automated diagnostic test that checks for common Wi-Fi status. The Hub will analyze its current connection status.
Step 3. After the diagnosis is complete, you may choose to share the results for further analysis. Tap the "Share" button and then select the desired location to export the diagnostic file.
Step 4. Finally, tap "Save" to store the diagnostic file.
Important Note:
- The generated diagnostic logs contain detailed information about your Hub's Wi-Fi connectivity status and environment. While these logs may not provide immediate insight into the situation for non-technical users, they are invaluable tools for our support team.
- After saving the diagnostic file, please contact Reolink Support and attach the saved log file when you reach out. Our support team will use this information to assist you more efficiently.
By following these steps, you will help us diagnose and potentially resolve unstable Wi-Fi connectivity with your Hub. If you encounter any difficulties during this process or have additional questions, do not hesitate to contact Reolink Support for assistance.
