Step-by-Step Reolink Camera Setup via Reolink App

Note: The initial setup steps and interface in the Reolink App may vary slightly depending on your camera model. After powering on the camera, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Refer to the example steps below for guidance.

Step 1. Power on the camera. Remember to turn on the power switch on the camera before initial setup, except for Argus 2 and Argus Pro.

After powering on the camera, depending on the camera model, you may hear one of the following startup indications that it is ready for initial setup:

  • A multilingual voice prompt ("Welcome to Reolink. Please install the Reolink App and scan the QR code on the camera.")
  • Startup chimes ("Ding Ding Ding Ding...")
  • A startup sound together with a flashing red status LED

Once you notice any of these startup indications, continue with the steps below.

Step 2. Tap the icon in the top right corner to start the initial setup.

Tap on Add button

Step 3. Scan the QR code on the back of the camera. Alternatively, tap Manual Input and manually type in the UID (the 16‑digit characters under the QR code on the camera). Then tap Next.
