2. How Reolink Restore Works
1. "Restore" means clearing the device's configuration and resetting it to factory settings, which also resets the password. This allows you to set a new password.
2. For camera restore, you can remotely restore it without having to take it down; tap "Restore" in the software.

3. Restore Reolink Device Step-by-Step Instruction
Step 1. Launch the Reolink App and go to Device Settings > Advanced.
Note: The restore option is under Advanced settings. Its location may vary by device. Below are the settings pages for the NVR and Home Hub.
Step 2. Tap the Restore button to restore the device.
Step 3. After the restore, it's normal for the device to show "Connection failed" as it needs to restart.
Step 4. After a few minutes, you'll see a message stating "Uninitialized device". Tap on this prompt to begin setting a new password for your device.
Step 5. Name your device. Then the initialization is complete.
