If you want to hide the blank channels or reorganize the camera order of your NVR's device list page via Reolink App, the channel list feature can be of help. This article will show you how to use the channel list feature on the Reolink App.
Applies to: All Reolink NVRs.
Step 1. Access the Channel List
Login to your NVR on the Reolink App, and go to NVR Settings > Channel List.
Step 2. Manage Channels
On the Channel List page, you can:
- Hide empty channels in the App for a cleaner preview.
- Pin important cameras to the top, displaying them in a larger view.
- Adjust the display order of cameras in the App list.
These three settings affect the camera order in the App device list, the sequence in multi-screen live views, and the order when swiping left to switch to the next camera in the live view interface.
Auto Hide Empty Channels (Optional)
Enable this option to hide empty channels in the App live view interface. This way, you can focus only on cameras in use, resulting in a cleaner and more efficient live view experience.
Note: Once this feature is enabled, any new cameras you add will be placed in Hidden Channels by default. To view them in the live view interface, you need to manually move the camera to Default Channels or Pinned Channels.
When the Auto Hide Empty Channels feature is turned off, empty channels support manual reordering. You can drag empty channels to Default Channels to make them visible or to Hidden Channels to hide them as needed.
Pinned Channel(s) (Optional)
Mark certain cameras as more important by setting them as pinned channels.
- Pinned channels appear in a larger preview on the App device list page. When the NVR shows 4 or more channels, pinned channels will always appear in a larger view.
- They are displayed above Default Channels.
- You can drag the three-line icon on the right to adjust the display order in the App list.
Default Channels
All cameras are in Default Channels by default.
- You can drag the three-line icon to reorder cameras in the App list. Reordering helps you manage cameras more efficiently and improves your overall preview experience.
Notes
- The channel order in the App does not correspond directly to the network ports the cameras are connected to; channels are assigned randomly.
- Changing the camera order in the App only affects the live view on the App, not on the NVR monitor or Reolink Client software.
- If you want the order to be synchronized across all devices, you need to rearrange channels directly on the NVR monitor.
- To change the display order of your NVR and other cameras that were added directly to the App, refer to: How to Adjust Reolink Device Order.
