Configuration - Reolink Go

Reolink Go is a 4G LTE camera that supports siren, two-way audio, cloud storage, time lapse, etc. This article will guide you in configuring these functions for Reolink Go.

Note: The time lapse function is only available on the version with a nano SIM card slot.

Siren

The camera with an audio alarm or siren can make a long and loud sound as a signal or warning when it detects motion.

• On Reolink App

  1. Log in to the camera, enter Device Settings, and go to Siren under Notification Settings.

     

  2. Toggle the switch to enable the siren.

• On Reolink Client

  1. Launch Reolink Client, log in to the camera, and go to Device Settings > Surveillance > Siren. Toggle the switch to enable the siren.

Two-Way Audio

Two-way audio allows you to receive and transmit audio through the camera. Reolink cameras that support two-way audio have a built-in speaker and microphone. You can talk through the camera via your Reolink App/Client when you are far away from home.

• On Reolink App

  1. Log in to your camera on Reolink App, go to Device Settings > Advanced, and enable Record Audio.

  2. Return to the camera live view interface. Tap the loud speaker  icon to turn on the audio and tap the Talk  button to enter the 2-way audio interface.

  3. Tap the microphone button to talk and tap the button again to turn it off. To exit the 2-way audio interface, tap the cross icon.

• On Reolink Client

  1. Launch Reolink Client, log in to the camera, and go to Device Settings >Device > Sounds to enable Record Audio.

  2. Enable audio (click the loudspeaker icon at the bottom right corner of the Live View interface) and click the microphone icon at the bottom of the live view.

     

     Click the microphone to start talking. The two-way audio function is enabled and you can talk now. To turn the microphone off, click the microphone again.

Cloud

Reolink Cloud service is based on cloud computing technology. It can perform video storage, editing, and retrieval over the Internet. Reolink Cloud service is not compulsory but optional.

At present, the Reolink Cloud is supported by several Reolink camera models in different countries and regions. Check Reolink Cloud Availability to learn more.

• On Reolink App

  1. Launch Reolink App on your phone, log in to the camera, and go to the Cloud page.
  2. Log in to or sign up for your Reolink account.

     Verify your email address. Reolink (noreply@reolink.com) will send an email to you. Click the link in the email to verify your email address.

  3. After logging in to the camera, go to the cloud storage page, and tap the Subscribe button.
  4. Choose a plan, read and confirm Terms & Policies, and proceed to checkout.  
  5. Select the camera(s) and tap the Bind button.

• On Website

  1. Sign up and Create Your Cloud Account. Remember to verify your email address.

  2. Go to Cloud, choose a plan, fill in the billing address, and click Subscribe.

  3. Bind your cameras to the Cloud via Reolink App.

Time Lapse (Reolink Go with a nano SIM card slot)

The version of Reolink Go with a nano SIM card slot supports time lapse. Time-lapse photography is a technique that speeds up the passage of time so that events seem to happen faster. In time-lapse videos, the slow changes of objects or scenes are compressed into a short period of time to present wonderful scenes that are usually undetectable to the naked eye.

Follow the instructions below to set up a time-lapse capture.

• On Reolink App

  1. Go to Device Settings > Time Lapse.

  2. Tap Try Now and select a scene for the time-lapse capture.

     

  3. Customize settings for the scene you choose.

  1. Log in to the camera and click the Time Lapse icon on the live view.

  2. Click Create Now and select a scene for time-lapse capture.
