Reolink Go PT is a battery-powered camera that supports two-way audio, pan & tilt, time lapse, cloud, etc.

To better learn the working principle and settings of the camera, here are some instructions for your reference.

Siren

Cameras with audio alarms or Siren can make a loud prolonged sound as a signal or warning when the camera detects motion alarms.

You can enable this feature via the Reolink APP or Reolink Client.

Two-way Audio

Two-way audio enables you to receive and transmit audio through the IP camera. Reolink cameras that support Two-way audio have a built-in speaker and microphone, you could talk through the camera via your Reolink app/client when you are far away from home.

You could enable the two-way audio function via the Reolink APP or Reolink Client. 

  • On Reolink App

    1. Log in to your camera on Reolink App, go to Device Settings > Advanced, and enable Record Audio.

    2. Return to the camera live view interface. Tap the loudspeaker loudspeaker.jpg icon to turn on the audio and tap the Talk talk_button.png button to enter the 2-way audio interface.

    3. Tap the microphone microphone.jpg button to talk and tap the button again to turn it off. To exit the 2-way audio page, tap the cross exit-button.jpg icon.

  • On Reolink Client

    1. Launch Reolink Client and log in to the camera, then go to Device Settings > Camera > Audio and Light page to enable the Record audio switch.

    2. Enable the audio icon at the bottom of the Live View page, then left-click on the Live Liew Page and click on the Microphone icon.

      And then click to start talking, the two-way audio function is enabled and you can talk now. To turn the microphone off, please tap on the icon again.

Pan&Tilt

A camera with the pan and tilt feature is capable of remote directional control (left/right/up/down).

Pan means the camera can rotate from the left and right, allowing the camera to have a wide coverage area, while Tilt means the camera can tilt up and down, giving the camera a wide vertical range of coverage.

Note: Go PT doesn't support optical zoom. You can only use the digital zoom feature. 

You may refer to the instructions below to control the camera. 

  • On Reolink App

    1. Tap the PTZ icon to unfold the PTZ menu.
    2. To control pan/tilt, please press and hold on the circle button and move it left/right/up/down.

  • On Reolink Client

    1. Launch Reolink Client and connect your camera, then click on the screen to call the PTZ option like the picture below.

    2. To control the Pan/Tilt, please click the directional arrows to manually control the direction of the camera.

Time-lapse

Time-lapse photography, also known as time-lapse video, is a shooting technique that compresses time. It shoots a group of photos or videos Later, by connecting photo series or extracting video frames, the process of several minutes, hours, or even several years is compressed into a short period of time and played as a video. In a time-lapse video, the process of slowly changing objects or scenes is compressed into a short period of time, presenting a wonderful scene that is usually undetectable by the naked eye.

To set up timelapse for your camera, you could refer to the instructions below.

Cloud

Reolink Cloud service is based on cloud computing technology. It can perform data storage, editing, and retrieval over the Internet. Please note that the Reolink Cloud service is not compulsory but optional.

At present, the Reolink Cloud is supported by several Reolink camera models in different countries and regions (click Reolink Cloud Availability to learn more).
