Image Stitching is designed to improve the stitching effect. For dual-lens cameras, since two lenses are combined to form a single image, the stitched area may be affected by the distance of objects being monitored. This can sometimes cause visual discontinuity or overlapping objects. The following explains how to adjust the Image Stitching settings to optimize image fusion for Reolink dual-lens cameras.

Applies to: Reolink Duo 2 PoE, Duo Series P730, Reolink Duo 2 Wi-Fi, Reolink Duo 2 LTE, Duo Series G750, Reolink Duo Floodlight PoE, Floodlight Series F750P, Reolink Duo Floodlight Wi-Fi, Duo 3 PoE, Duo 3 WiFi, Duo 3V PoE, Duo 2V PoE, Argus 4, Argus Series B740, Argus 4 Pro, Argus Series B740X, Reolink Elite WiFi, Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi.

Note: The first-generation Duo is not supported.

Image Stitching Parameters

Only a few scenes might need to be fine-tuned. Users are not required to manually adjust the distance and horizontal and vertical parameters for most of the scenes.

On Image Stitching page, you can adjust Distance, Horizontal, Vertical.

  • Distance: the distance between the camera and the object. The default distance is 8 meters. If the object/area is close to or far from the camera and results in the object missing or ghosting, you can adjust the distance value. The adjustable range is 2m - 20m.
  • Horizontal: The value represents how many pixels the two images from the dual-lens are overlapped horizontally. To decrease the value means to separate the two images, and to increase the value means to close the gap between the two images.
  • Vertical: To decrease the value means to move the image on the right down, and to increase the value means to move it up.
