This article will show you how to upload continuous recordings to FTP on Reolink NVRs.

Applies to: RLN8-410 with hardware version N2MB02/H3MB18/N3MB01/N7MB01; RLN16-410 with hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01; RLN12W.

Note: Please verify that your FTP server is working properly before configuring FTP settings on Reolink NVRs. If you don't have one, see how to build FTP Server on Your PC (Cerberus FTP Server). 

You can follow the steps below to set up continuous recording to FTP on Reolink NVRs.

Step 1. Log in to your NVR on a monitor and click the Settings icon to enter the main menu page.

Step 2. Go to Surveillance > FTP, toggle on the FTP switch and go to Settings.

Step 3. Enter the FTP information on the Settings page.

  • Server IP: Type in the IP address of your FTP server and enter the correct port. The default value of the port is 21.
  • Username and Password: Enter the User Name and the Password of your FTP server. If your FTP server does not require a username and a password, please check anonymously.
  • Remote Directory: Set an upload directory for the recordings to be uploaded to. You may also leave it blank.
  • File Length(MB): Set the length of each video package uploaded to the server.

Step 4. After filling in the information, click Apply to save the FTP settings.

Step 5. Click Daily Schedule to configure schedule for FTP uploading.

Step 6. Select the channel you want to configure, toggle on the switch next to it to unfold the schedule.

Select Timer, click Enable and then click on the girds to customize the continuous record schedule.

If you want to copy the configuration to all the other cameras, click Applies to Other Camera(s) to proceed.
