This article shows you how to find out the system information for NVR and the cameras connected to NVR on a monitor connected.
You may refer to the following steps to check the firmware version for NVR and the cameras connected to the Reolink NVRs (with hardware version N2MB02, N3MB01, N7MB01, H3MB18, N6MB01, and N5MB01).
Part 1. Find out the System Information of Reolink NVR
Method 1
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36, NVS36 and RLN12W, NVS12W.
Step 1. Click on the Settings icon on the NVR monitor screen.
Step 2. Go to the System > Info page. Now you will be able to find the system information of the NVR, including the hardware version (Hw No.) and firmware version (Fw Version) of your NVR.
Method 2
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version N7MB01) and RLN16-410 (hardware version N6MB01) with firmware v3.6 and later.
Step 1. Click on the Settings icon on the NVR monitor screen.
Step 2. Click the Home icon on the left, and the NVR's information will appear.
Part 2. Find out the System Information of Cameras Connected to Reolink NVR
Method 1
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36 and RLN12W.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Camera page. Choose the channel of the camera and then click More Info in blue.
Step 2. Now you could find out the hardware version (Hw No.) and firmware version (FW Version) of your camera.
Method 2
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36 and RLN12W.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Channel.
Step 2. Under Channel Management, move your mouse to the camera that you want to check, click Info and you will find the Camera Details.
Method 3
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version N7MB01) and RLN16-410 (hardware version N6MB01) with firmware v3.6 and later.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Home, and brief information about each camera you have connected is on the right side. Click on the camera you want to know more about.
Step 2. Then you enter the Camera page. For more details, click More Info in blue.
Step 3. Now you can find out the hardware version (Hw No.) and firmware version (FW Version) of your camera.
Through the above steps, the system information of the Reolink NVRs can be accessed. Details such as the serial number and model number are useful for Reolink product registration and technical support, making it easier to obtain assistance when needed.
