When previewing the camera, is there any way for the camera to turn to specific areas, say, the garden corner and the porch, instead of controlling it through the PTZ function each time? Of course. You could do it by setting up presets.
Applies to: E1, E1 Pro, E1 Zoom, E1 Outdoor, E1 Outdoor PoE, E1 Outdoor Pro, RLC-523WA, RLC-823A, RLC-823A 16X, RLC-830A, RLC-81PA, Reolink TrackMix WiFi, and TrackMix PoE on RLN8-410, RLN16-410 and RLN36
This article shows you how to set up preset point(s) for Reolink cameras via NVR with a monitor connected. Please make sure you have added the camera to the NVR correctly.
Step 1. Enter the live view page of the camera on the NVR monitor, and then click the PTZ icon to call the PTZ panel.
Step 2. Aim your camera at a specific place.
You could click the arrows to pan or tilt the camera. Slide the Zoom bar and the Focus bar to make the camera zoom in or out, and focus near or far.
Step 3. Create a preset point.
After aiming your camera in Step 2, click below the Preset Point on the PTZ menu to mark the current place as a preset. Name this preset by typing the name in the input box and then click Confirm.
For example, in the picture below, the preset of the camera looking at the floor near the glass door is named preset 1.
Step 4. You can add more presets by repeating Step 2 and Step 3.
Step 5. Click below the Preset Point on the PTZ menu. You will see all the presets you've created. For example, the picture below shows that three presets have been added: preset 1, preset 2, and preset 3.
Notes:
- : Click this button and the camera will turn to the corresponding preset point immediately.
- : Click this button and you could rename the preset.
- : Click the Trash Can to delete the preset you no longer want.
