The following steps describe how to set up the motion detection area via Reolink New UI NVR on the monitor.

Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36 and RLN12W.

Step 1. Log in to the NVR via an NVR monitor, then go to Settings > Camera page.

Step 2. Select the channel (camera) that you want to set and then choose Detection > Detection Area to enter Detection Area Settings page.

Step 2. Left-click on the interface and drag the mouse to disable the motion detection area. For reducing false alarms, you can exclude the area where you don’t need motion detection. If you want to delete part of the non-detection area, you can repaint directly on the blue grids.

Step3. Click Apply to save your setting.

add_all.png: Click Add all to set the whole live view as a non-detection area.

delete_all.png: Click Delete all to remove all the non-motion detection areas.

Note: Drag the area covered by the blue grids can disable the area setting. The motions in the area covered by the blue grids will not be detected.
