This article guides you to set up a record schedule via Reolink Client.
Applies to: All Reolink cameras with a micro SD card slot (excluding the battery-powered cameras without smart detection).
You can follow the steps below to quickly set up or change the record schedule for your camera on the Reolink Client.

Step 1. Launch Reolink Client and go to the Camera Settings page.
Step 2. Go to Surveillance > Record > Schedule.
Step 3. On the Record Schedule page, you will see two options: Alarm & Timer. Alarm is for motion recording and Timer is for continuous recording.
Under the Alarm Schedule, select the detection type and choose the date & time for motion recording.
Under the Timer Schedule, click Enable and click the grids to customize the time frame for continuous recording.
Step 4. Once finish the detection schedule, please click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your settings.
Notes:
- There are three detection types: any motion, person, and vehicle. Please note that the detection types vary from device model.
- Alarm means setting recordings for motion detection, and Timer means setting continuous or 24/7 recordings.
- To set up the Smart person/Vehicle detection feature via the Reolink App for the stand-alone camera, please make sure you had inserted a micro SD card (up to 256 GB) to this camera and also update your client to the latest version.
- If you choose Any Motion only, then it will only detect normal motions and you can't see Person or Vehicle detection while playback.
