Setting up a recording schedule can help you record different motions at the time you want.
Applies to: All Reolink cameras with SD card or SD card slot (exclude battery-powered cameras)
Step 1. Please launch your Reolink PC client and go to the Device Settings and find the Surveillance button.
Step 2. On the camera device settings page, please click the Surveillance button, and choose the Record button.
Step 3. On the Record Schedule page, you will see two options: Alarm & Timer
Under the Alarm Schedule, please enable/choose the detection type and then choose the time & date for detection.
Under the Timer schedule, please enable/choose the time and date you want for continuous recordings. It will save all three detection types: Any Motion, Person or Vehicle by default. While playback you can select the detection type you want.
Step 4. Once finish the detection schedule, please click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your settings.
Notes:
- There are three detection types: any motion, person, and vehicle. Please note that the detection types vary from different models of your camera, and some cameras also support setting the recording for your pet.
- Alarm means setting recordings for motions, and Timer means setting continuous or 24/7 recordings.
- To set up the Smart person/Vehicle detection feature via the app for the stand-alone camera, please make sure you had inserted a Micro sd card( up to 256 GB) to this camera and also update your client to the latest version.
- If you choose Any Motion only, then it will only detect normal motions and you can't see Person or Vehicle detection while playback.
