Description of the phenomenon: FTP stops working; FTP can’t upload files; FTP test failed.
Cause 1: FTP server closed.
Solution: check whether the FTP server is open and in the active mode.
Cause 2: the settings of the FTP server are incorrect.
Solution: check if the settings of the server are correct. Please refer to How to set up FTP for Reolink Products.
Cause 3: the username or password is incorrect.
Solution: check if the username or password is correct.
To verify the above information, you may use the FileZilla to test on the same LAN with the camera or provide the screenshot on the FileZilla to our support team to check:
Cause 4: fail to create the directory
Solution: authorize read and write permissions on FTP, or change the file name to be simpler.
Cause 5: software bug.
Solution: check the firmware to make sure the firmware is up to date.
