Applies to: All Reolink cameras
Description of the situation:
The Reolink cameras will automatically drop the frame rate to 12 fps during the night time to ensure enough exposure time so sometimes, you will have a bright image at night or the image looks like a ghost.
Cause: Low frame rate at night
Solution: For IP cameras, please increase the frame rate during the night time via PC client: go to Advanced Settings, change the Exposure to Anti-smearing, lower the shutter value to 0~32ms. To get a full 30 fps, please also disable 3D-NR.
Please kindly have a try and see whether the frame rate is increased during the night time and the image will be better at night.
For the battery-powered cameras, since it's not possible to adjust the advanced settings as IP cameras, if you have the above issue, please contact Reolink support for further help.
