Have no idea about how to initially set up those Reolink WiFi cameras without a LAN port? No worries. This article will guide you through the initial setup via Reolink Client step by step.
Applies to: Reolink Lumus, Reolink E1 Zoom/E1/E1 Pro (without LAN port).
Note: Before the initial setup, download the Reolink Client in the Download Center

Step 1. Click the “+” icon and choose UID to enter the UID of your camera, then click Add.
For how to find the UID, refer to How to Find the UID of Your Device
Step 2. Select Wi-Fi, then click Confirm. Then you will hear a voice or a repeated ding sound, select correspondingly and click Next.
Step 3. Type in the Wi-Fi SSID and password to set up a Wi-Fi for this camera, and click Next.
Click the eye icon so that you can check if the Wi-Fi password is correct.
Note: Some models only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Please refer to the actual specifications on the official website and the Reolink Client application for accurate details. If there is no indication of both 5GHz and 2.4GHz on Enter Wi-Fi Info page, it means the camera only supports 2.4GHz.
Step 4. Place the camera lens in front of the QR code on your computer screen at a distance of about 20cm (8 inches) and scan the QR code. After hearing a beep sound, tick "I have heard a beep sound from the camera" and click Next.
Step 5. Wait around 60 seconds for the camera to connect to the router. After hearing a voice prompt saying “Connection to the router succeeded”, select correspondingly and click Next.
Step 6. Create the password for your camera. Click Next.
Step 7. Name your camera. Then click Finish.
The initialization of your camera is finished. You can get a live view now.
