For RLN8-410 and RLN16-410, there is only one RCA port (audio out). The RCA port is used for carrying audio signals from the cameras to the output device (i.e. the RCA speaker).

For RLN36, there are two RCA ports (both audio in and out). The audio-in port is used to receive audio signals from the input device (like a Microphone). With both audio-in and audio-out ports, you can have a two-way talk via the RLN36.
