In this section, we will offer you ways to set up the patrol speed and stay time at the patrol point for your camera. You may choose one according to the platform you are operating.

Applies to: RLC-423, RLC-423W, RLC-523WA, RLC-823 Series (RLC-823A, RLC-823A 16X, RLC-823S1, RLC-823S2, RLC-823S1W)

Notes:

1. Patrol Time refers to how long the camera will stay after it moves to a specific preset point.
2. The larger the Speed, the faster the camera moves to that specific preset.

  • Via Reolink App

    Step 1. Launch the Reolink App and enter the Live View page of your camera, then tap the PTZ icon. Tap the Patrol icon as the picture shows below.

    Step 2. Tap the edit icon edit iconof a specific patrol point to adjust the duration of stay(s) and moving speed for the point. Then tap Confirm to save the settings.

    For example, the setting below means the camera will move to patrol point 1 at a speed of 32 and stay at that point for 10 seconds.

    Step 3.  Customize the duration of stay and moving speed for other specific patrol points by repeating Step 2.

  • Via Reolink Client

    Step 1. Launch the Reolink Client and enter the live-view page of the camera. Then click the PTZ icon to call the PTZ panel.

    Step 2. Click Patrol and you will see a patrol route on the Patrol page. If you haven't set any patrol route before, please refer to here for a guide.

    Step 3. Click edit icon to modify the Patrol Time and Speed for a specific preset. Then click Confirm.

    For example, the picture below shows that the camera will move to preset 1 at a speed of 14 and stays there for 22 seconds.

    Step 4. You can set the patrol speed and duration of other presets by repeating the above steps.

  • Via Reolink Web browser

    Step 1. Input the IP Address of your camera on a web browser and log in to your camera.

    Step 2. Click PTZ, and select Patrol.

    Step 3. Click edit icon to modify the Patrol Time and Speed for a specific preset. Then click Confirm.

    For example, the picture below shows that the camera will move to preset 1 at a speed of 10 and stays there for 32 seconds.

    Step 4. You can set the patrol speed and duration of other presets by repeating the above steps.

  • Via Reolink NVR (New UI)

    Step 1. Enter the live-view page of the camera on the NVR monitor. Then click the PTZ icon to call the PTZ menu.

    Step 2. Click the Settings gear icon of Patrol on the PTZ menu.

    Step 3. All the patrol points of the patrol route are displayed on this page. Click the Settings gear icon of the specific patrol point to configure the Duration and Speed. Then click Confirm.

    Step 4. You can set the patrol speed and duration of other presets by repeating Step 3.

  • Via Reolink NVR (Old UI)

    Step 1. Left click camera image to pop up the toolbar, click the PTZ button, and click Patrol.

    Step 2. Choose Preset 1, then click Set to configure it for the Duration and Speed.

    Step 3. Choose the Duration and the Speed of patrolling, then click OK to save the settings.
