If you want to extend the recording time for microSD card/HDD recording after motion is detected, you can choose to set up post-motion record duration for your Reolink devices. Post-motion Record enables cameras to keep recording for a certain time after the recording-triggering motion event ends.
Applies to: All Reolink devices except Reolink Go Ranger PT (Hardware version BIPC_560MIX4G32M25SD938MP_R), KEEN Ranger PT and TrackMix LTE (Hardware version BIPC_NT2BCNO38MPC1SD7V5).
Notes:
1. The available post-motion record duration varies from device models.
2. The post-motion record of Reolink Go Ranger PT/KEEN Ranger PT is defaulted to 15 seconds and cannot be changed.

Via Reolink App
Step 1. Login to your Reolink device on Reolink App, then go to the Camera Settings Page.Step 2. Go to Camera Recording > Post-recording Duration and select the duration according to your demands. -
Via Reolink Client
Log in to your device and go to the Camera Settings > Surveillance > Record > Post-Motion Record.
Note: For cameras linked to the Home Hub series, click
first to open the camera list and then go to Camera Setting page.

Via Reolink Web browser
Applies to: Reolink cameras with the SD card slot (except battery-powered cameras, E1, E1 Pro, and Reolink Lumus) and NVRs.
Step 1. Log in to your device via a web browser. Click the gear icon on the top right to get to the Camera Settings page.
Step 2. Click Surveillance > Record > Post-Motion Record. You can see different options that can be selected.

Via Monitor (Reolink NVR with New UI)
Click Settings (the menu bar location may vary depending on the NVR version, it could be at the top or bottom, refer to your actual NVR interface) > Surveillance > Record Settings. You can set your camera to Extend recording time after a motion event ends. Done!

Via Reolink NVR (Old UI)
Applies to: RLN4-410 (hardware version H3MB17), RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB02), RLN8-410-E, RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB06)
Go to Menu > Recording > Option page, and click Record Extension to choose the time, click Apply to save the settings.
