Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Via Reolink App

    Step 1. Launch your Reolink App, and then go to the live view page of the camera you want. Tap Playback on the live view page.

    Note: The process is the same whether the camera is standalone, connected to a Home Hub, or connected to a Reolink NVR.

    Step 2. Check if the audio button is enabled.

    mute audio This icon indicates that the audio is disabled. Please tap it to enable it.

    Note: Please make sure the Record Audio setting has been enabled. Here is a guide on how to enable Record Audio.

    Step 1. Tap gear icon to enter the Device Settings page.

    Step 2. Tap Sounds, then toggle the Record Audio button to enable it. Blue indicates that it is enabled.

    Note: If you still can't hear the audio of the recording, please check if your phone's audio is enabled and turn up the volume.

  • Via Reolink Client

    Step 1. Launch Reolink Client and log into your Reolink device. Go to Device Settings > Device > Sounds page, then toggle Record Audio button to turn it blue.

    Step 2. Click the Playback button to enter the Playback page, and drag the camera to the Playback page. We take RLC-823S2 as an example.

     Step 3. Click the audio icon in the bottom right of the page and turn up the audio.playback audio

    Note: If you still can't hear a voice, check if computer voice is enabled.computer volume
  • Via Reolink Web Browser

    Applies to: All Reolink NVRs and cameras except Reolink E1, E1 Pro, Lumus, and Reolink battery-powered cameras.

    Step 1. Log in to your device using a web browser by entering its IP address in the browser's address bar.

    Step 2. Go to Device Settings page.

    Step 3. Click Audio and toggle Record Audio to turn it blue.

    Step 4. Click Playback, then click the audio icon to turn up the volume.

    Note: If you still cannot hear a voice, check if computer voice is enabled.

  • Via Reolink NVR (new UI)

    Note:

    2. Before you follow the steps below, please enable the Audio Recording: How to Enable Audio for Recording and Live Viewing via Reolink Software

    Step 1. Right-click on the Live View interface, and then click the playback button to enter the playback page.

    Step 2. Select the channel(s) for synchronous playback, then click Apply to search recordings.

    Step 3. Choose the date and then click the timeline that you want to playback.

    Step4. Click mceclip5and set the output volume of recordings.

  • Via Reolink NVR (Old UI)

    Note: Please remember to connect a speaker to your NVR. Before you start, please the Audio Recording for recording by referring to How to Enable Audio for Recording and Live Viewing via Reolink Software

    Step 1. Log in to your NVR on the monitor, go to Menu > Search > Playback, and select the channels you want. Customize the Video Type, Start Time, and End Time. Then click the Search button to search for the recordings you want.

    Step 2. Click the Play button to playback the recordings you choose.

    Step 3. Select the channel(s) for synchronous playback (at a maximum of 4 cameras), then click OK to start playback.

    Step 4. On the playback page, click mute to play sounds and adjust the output volume of recordings.

Check carefully to ensure you've followed every step correctly if you still can't hear audio from your recording. It may also be because the recording itself has no audio. Try another recording to see if the issue persists. If you need further assistance, click Submit a request at the bottom of the page to contact Support.
