Why Can't I Playback Recordings Saved on FTP via Reolink App or Reolink Client

Playback option in Reolink App and Reolink Client is only for playing recordings stored in the Micro SD card or HDD inside NVR. Reolink App and Reolink Client can access the Reolink device, so you can see live views and playback recordings from the camera's SD card or NVR's HDD.

Applied to: Reolink cameras that support FTP function

An FTP server for IP cameras is an online security camera storage option, which allows you to upload and save CCTV images and videos to a network platform. For security issues, it is impossible for Reolink App and Reolink Client to access your computer or FTP server.
