Recording is a key function of the camera and is typically enabled by default. However, if you want to disable or stop the recording on your Reolink devices, we will guide you through the process.
Applies to: Recording saved to the Reolink device's own SD card or HDD.
When to Disable/Stop Recording
Generally, we do not recommend disabling or stopping recording on your Reolink devices, as this may lead you to miss important events. Keeping recording enabled ensures you can playback and review any events you want to monitor. If you do need to stop recording, you can do so in a few simple steps, but be aware that the camera will not record anything until you enable recording again.
