You may meet some situations that need you to change user password, it's normal cause to make your devices more secure, change user password more frequently is a good way. Here we will guide you to change the user password for Reolink device in different ways.
Applies to: Reolink device which support user management feature.
Notes:
- Only the super account admin could change the password of other admin and user accounts.
- If you’ve forgotten the device password and wish to restore or reset it, refer to What Should I Do If I Forget the Password to Log in to Cameras/NVRs/Home Hub.

Via Reolink App
Go to Settings > Advanced > User Management, then choose the admin/user you want to change the password for, tap Edit button to update the password.

Via Reolink Client

Click Device Settings > System > User Management, then select the admin/user account, click the Edit icon beside your account to change the password.

Via Reolink Web browser
Applies to: All Reolink cameras and Reolink NVRs except battery-powered cameras, Reolink E1, Reolink E1 Pro, and Reolink Lumus.
Log in to your device via Web Browser and then go to Device Settings > System > User Management page. Click on Change Password next to the user you want to modify the password for.

Via Monitor (Reolink NVR with New UI)
Click Settings (the menu bar location may vary depending on the NVR version, it could be at the top or bottom, refer to your actual NVR interface) > System > Account Center. Click the Edit icon beside your account to change the password.

Via Monitor (Reolink NVR with Old UI)
Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB02), RLN8-410-E (hardware version H3MB16), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB06), RLN4-410, RLN4-211W and RLN4-210W.

Step 1. Go to Menu > System > User page, then choose the user for which you would like to change the password and click Modify to create a new password.
Step 2. Input the old and new password, confirm the new password, then tap on Apply to save the configurations.
