Reolink WiFi and PoE cameras which use motion detection can identify the motions by comparing the two frames (before and after). If there is a difference between the two frames, the alarm for motion detection will be triggered.
Given the working principle of motion detection, it's not supported for the MD cameras to detect person only.
However, you may follow the methods below to configure the MD setting more effectively.
- Set the proper motion detection area on the camera, refer to Set Up Motion Detection Area for Reolink Cameras.
- Set the proper sensitivity for the camera, refer to Set Up Motion Detection Sensitivity for Reolink Cameras.
