If you want to use DDNS to connect your Reolink device, please configure the DDNS for your device first. Check below for detailed guides.

Applies to: All Reolink devices except for the battery-powered ones.

Notes:
1. Reolink supports both no-ip and DynDNS.

2. If DDNS isn’t working, please check the media port of your Reolink device and forward it in your router settings. If you encounter issues with port forwarding, please reach out to your router supplier for assistance.

3. The Reolink App currently does not support DDNS setup.

  • Via Reolink Client

    Step 1. Launch the Reolink Client and connect the camera, then go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced page.

    Step 2. Click Enable DDNS option.

    Step 3. Choose NO-IP or DynDNS as the DDNS Server Type. Then input the Domain Name, Username, and Password, then click Save to save the settings.

  • Via Reolink Web browser

    Applies to: All Reolink devices except the battery-powered ones, Reolink Lumus, Reolink E1, and Reolink E1 Pro.

    Step 1. Log in to your Reolink device via a web browser. Click the gear icon on the top right to get to the device settings page.

    Step 2. Click Network > Advanced. Toggle the switch to enable DDNS

    Step 3. Click DDNS settings. Choose the DDNS Server Type, and enter the Server Domain Name, Username, and password

    Click Save to save the configurations.

    If the web interface of your Reolink device is an old version, you can refer to the steps below. 

    Step 1. Log in to your Reolink device via a web browser and go to the device settings page. 

    Step 2. Click Network >Advanced >DDNS.

    Step 3. Enable DDNS and choose No-IP or DynDNS as the DDNS Server type. Then input the Domain name, User Name, and Password and click OK to save the settings.

  • Via Reolink NVR (new UI)

    Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36 and RLN12W.

    Step 1. Right-click the live-view page and click the Settings icon at the bottom right corner to enter the menu.

    Step 2. Go to the Network > Advanced page and click the DDNS Settings.

    Step 3. Enable DDNS and choose No-IP or DynDNS as the DDNS Server type. Then input the Domain name, User Name, and Password, and click Apply to save the settings.

  • Via Reolink NVR (Old UI)

    Applies to: RLN4-410 (hardware version H3MB17), RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB02), RLN8-410-E, RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB06)

    Step 1. Go to Menu > Network > Advanced > DDNS page.

    Step 2. Enable DDNS and choose No-IP or DynDNS as the DDNS Server type. Then input the Domain name, User Name, and Password, Confirm the password, and click Apply to save the settings.
