Below is an explanation of the relationship between the UID number of the Reolink product and the QR code pasted on the device.
Applies to: All Reolink cameras and NVRs except cameras included in the NVR kits
Every Reolink product (cameras included in the NVR kits excluded) comes with a QR Code and a UID number. Actually, they are the same thing presented in two different forms: QR Code is a code and UID is a serial number with 16 digits. You can scan the QR code or input the UID number to add this device.
- For Reolink standalone cameras, the UID can be easily found below the QR code on the camera body as shown in the following pictures.
- For Reolink NVR, the UID is on the upper shell as shown in the picture below.
