An auto reboot can optimize your Reolink device after running for some time. This article will guide you on how to set up auto reboot for your Reolink device in various ways.

Applies to: All Reolink devices (Except battery-powered cameras).

Note: The Reolink App currently does not support auto reboot setup.

  • Via Reolink Client

    Here is a video for your reference:

    Launch Reolink Client and log in to your device, then go to Device Settings System Maintenance page. Turn on Auto Reboot, and set up the time and date of the Auto-reboot as your requirement.

    Notes: Once a standalone camera is connected directly to the NVR/Home Hub, the NVR/Home Hub's auto reboot settings will be applied to it. And the camera's own auto reboot settings will not take effect.

  • Via Reolink Web browser

    Applies to: All Reolink devices except the battery-powered ones, Reolink E1, Reolink E1 Pro, Reolink Lumus, and add-on cameras

    Step 1. Log in to your camera via a web browser. Click the gear icon on the top right to get to the device settings page.

    Step 2. Click System > Maintenance. Toggle the switch to enable Auto Reboot.

    The default auto reboot time is 02:00 am every Sunday. You can customize it as you need. 

    If the web interface of your camera is an old version, you can refer to the steps below. 

    Step 1. Log in to your camera via web browser and go to the device settings page. 

    Step 2. Click System > Reboot. Click Enable auto reboot and set up the time and date of the auto reboot accordingly.

    Step 3. Click OK to save all the settings after configuration.

    Notes: Once a standalone camera is connected directly to the NVR, the NVR's auto reboot settings will be applied to it. And the camera's own auto reboot settings will not take effect.

  • Via Reolink NVR (new UI)

    Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36 and RLN12W.

    You may follow the steps below to set up auto-reboot on the monitor of your NVR.

    Step 1. Please go to the live-view page and click the Settings icon at the bottom right corner to enter the menu.

    Step 2. Go to System > Maintenance. Then enable Auto Reboot, set up the time and date of the auto reboot accordingly.

    Notes: Once a standalone camera is connected directly to the NVR, the NVR's auto reboot settings will be applied to it. And the camera's own auto reboot settings will not take effect.

  • Via Reolink NVR (Old UI)

    Applies to: RLN4-410 (hardware version H3MB17), RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB02), RLN8-410-E, RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB06)

    Step 1. Log in to your PoE NVR, and then go to Menu > System > Maintenance.

    Step 2. Check Enable auto reboot, and set up the time and date of the auto reboot accordingly.

    Step 3. Click Apply to save the settings.
