It's quite simple to power off Reolink PoE cameras or WiFi cameras. This article will instruct you on how to do it.
Applies to: All Reolink PoE cameras and WiFi cameras.
There is no direct power control button on the camera body to power off the POE/WiFi cameras. You can refer to the methods below to learn how to power off the camera.
For PoE Cameras
- If your PoE camera is powered via an Ethernet cable connected to a PoE injector/switch/NVR, you may power off the camera by unplugging the Ethernet cable.
- If your PoE camera is powered by the power adapter (connecting a network cable to the router for the network only), you may power off the camera by pulling out the power adapter's connector from the power port (which is on the camera's tail cable). You could unplug the power adapter from the power outlet, either.
For WiFi Cameras
Reoink WiFi cameras could only be powered by a DC power adapter.
- For E1, E1 Pro, and E1 Zoom, you may power off the camera by pulling out the power adapter's connector from the power port on the camera body. You may also unplug the power adapter to power off the camera.
- For other WiFi cameras, please disconnect the power adapter's connector from the power port (which is on the camera's tail cable), or unplug the power adapter from the outlet to power off the camera.
