How to Choose Microphone for RLC-423/RLC-423S/RLC-423WS

This article intends to show you how to select a proper microphone for RLC-423 series cameras.

There is no built-in mic for RLC-423 series cameras. If you would like to receive audio, you will need to connect an external mic to the "Audio-in" port (see picture below) of RLC-423 series cameras.

Here are some suggestions for choosing a microphone for the RLC-423 series cameras.

• RLC-423 series cameras cannot supply power to the microphone, so please choose a microphone with a power supply.
• The "Audio-in" port of RLC-423 series cameras is an RCA Female port, so you will need to choose a microphone with an RCA Male port.
• If the microphone you have is one with an RCA Female port like Tiny Spy Microphone, you need an RCA Male to RCA Male Adapter Connector to connect the microphone and the RLC-423 series cameras.
