If you want to share your camera with others, but don't want others using the same permission as yours, you can refer to the article below to know the differences between an admin account and a user account and create an account accordingly.

Account Permissions Introduction
Reolink devices support two types of accounts: Administrator and User. Each account type is designed for different access and management needs, with permissions varying accordingly.
Administrators have access to device settings and user management, including a default admin account and the ability to add Administrator and User accounts.
Users can access the device and change their own login passwords, and can use certain features such as live view, playback, and receiving push notifications, but are not allowed to alter device settings or manage other accounts.
Difference Between Administrator and User Account
The following table shows the differences in permissions among the three account types on the Reolink App.

Administrator Account
Logging in to a camera via the Reolink App as an Administrator (Default & Added Admin Account), you can use the same functionality on the preview page.
When you go to the device setting page, you can configure all the camera's functions, such as Wi-Fi, Display, Sounds, Lights, Alarm Settings, Notification Settings and More Settings such as Share Device, Time Lapes and Advanced. But as an Added Admin Account, it is not available for Share Device.

User Account
Logging in to a camera via the Reolink App as a User Account, functionality on the preview and settings pages is limited compared with Administrator accounts.
When you go to the device settings page, you can set up Push Notifications, Time-lapse Gallery (Available only on supported devices), and Advanced (Change its own password).
Important Notes on Using Admin/User Account
- For the Default Admin account, its password can be modified, while the name-admin can not be changed.
- If you log in to the camera via Reolink Client as a user account, the setting page is not available, and without settings icon.
- As a default administrator account, you can disconnect or delete the unwanted common access users.
- As a default administrator account, you could create other admin/user accounts, modify all accounts' passwords and delete accounts. An added admin account could not create another admin account but could change its password and the user account's password. A user account can only change its password.
- Permissions for user accounts may vary slightly depending on the camera model. Please refer to the actual camera interface for precise details.
- If you forget the default admin password, the only option is to restore or reset the camera to its factory settings and create a new password. Please note that after resetting, any previously created administrator or common user accounts will also be deleted.
- Models that support the advanced sharing feature allow you to customize the sharing permissions for "view only" user.
- For battery-powered cameras without Advanced Sharing, User Accounts are not supported. Cameras can only be added via the Admin Account.
