The Device Settings page could be divided into 7 parts: Display page; Recording page; Network page; Alarm page; System page; User page and Device page.

Display page
Display>>OSD
Camera Name: Users may set the camera name and choose to display it on the video or not.
Position settings: Users may change the OSD content (including the name and date/time) position on the screen.Date/Time: Users may modify the camera date/time and choose to display it on the video or not.
More Distinct OSD: Users may enable it to make the OSD content more distinct on the screen when the background is white.
Note: This option is only for the old hardware cameras. For the new hardware cameras, it will add the black border for the content automatically when the background is white.Watermark: Users may enable/disable the watermark (shows the Reolink logo) on the screen.
Note: This option is only for the new hardware cameras.Privacy Mask: Users may set the privacy mask (up to 4 parts) for the camera to mask some areas.
Note: The masked area will also detect motions if you don't clear the motion detection area for it.You may also want to know: Set up the OSD via the Web Browser -
Recording page
1. Recording >>Encode: change the video parameters.
Note: If you changed the resolution parameter, the camera would reboot after you save the settings.

2. Recording >>Advance:
Overwrite: Check this option, then the SD card or HDD will automatically overwrite the old recording files and store new recordings when it becomes full.
Post-record: The recording will last for the specific time if you configure the post-record for your device.
Schedule: Set a record schedule for your device.Notes: Motion means that the camera will start to record when there are movements detected. Normal (only for Reolink C1/C1 Pro/C2/C2 Pro, E1 Zoom and PoE NVR) means that the camera will record constantly. Network page
1. Network>>General: set Gateway and assign an IP address for your device.
2. Network>>Advanced: set DDNS for remote access, use NTP to sync time, set up E-mail and Push notification to alert you when motion detected, set up the port, and enable UID/P2P for your device.

3. Network>>Status: check the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS of your device.4. Network>> Wi-Fi Settings: set up the WiFi for your camera.
