If the time on your Reolink device is wrong, and you need to change or set the time, check the guides below.

  • Via Reolink App

    The Reolink App only supports synchronization of the date and time. If you need assistance, please follow the instructions below.

    Here is a video for your reference:

    Step 1. Log in to your device and tap the gear icon to enter the Device Settings interface.

    Step 2. Go to Advanced > Date & Time.

    Step 3. Tap Synchronize phone time to sync the date and time of the camera with your phone.

  • Via Reolink Client

    Step 1. Launch Reolink Client and log in to your device, and then go to Settings > System > Date & Time page. Select the Time format and Date format according to your local time. 

    Also, you can click on Synchronize under Network Time-Protocol to manually synchronize the time.

    Step 2. Click Set up to configure time zone, DST (daylight saving time, also summer time, not all countries have the DST, so you need to set the DST according to your local time), and choose to use the Auto-NTP or manually set the date&time.

    Note: Battery-powered cameras do not have NTP settings.

  • Via Reolink Web browser

    Applies to: All Reolink devices except the battery-powered cameras, Reolink E1, Reolink E1 Pro, and Reolink Lumus

    Step 1. Log into your cameras/NVRs via a Web Browser, and click the gear icon on the top right to get to the device settings page.

    Step 2. Go to System > Date & Time. Click the settings icon settings icon to get the drop-down menu. 

    Select the Time Zone that you want to change to, then click Confirm to save the settings.

    Step 3. If you want to use NTP(Network Time Protocol) to synchronize the time, you can click Set Up and turn on Auto-Synchronize. Then click Save.

    Step 4. Choose the format for time and date separately.

    If the user interface of your device is an old version, please check the steps below. 

    Step 1. Log in to your camera via web browser and go to the device settings page. 

    Step 2. Click System General > General.

    Step 3. Select the Time Zone according to your place of residence, then click OK button to save the settings.

  • Via Reolink NVR (new UI)

    Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36

    Step 1. Log into your NVR, then go to Setting > System > Time and Language page.

    Step 2. You can customize the camera time by modifying each option.

    Note: You can click the DST button to set the start and end time of DST according to your local time.

  • Via Reolink NVR (Old UI)

    Applies to: RLN4-410 (hardware version H3MB17), RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB02), RLN8-410-E, RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB06)

    Step 1. Log into your PoE NVR, then go to Menu > System > General page.

    Step 2. You can customize the camera time by modifying each option, then click the Apply button to save the settings.

    Note: You can click DST next to System Time to set the start and end time of DST according to your local time.
