If the image of your camera is flickering or overexposed, you may check if you have changed the anti-flickering settings for your camera.
Applies to: All Reolink cameras
Please leave the anti-flicker settings by default. If you find the camera image flickering or overexposed, go check and change the anti-flicker settings to see if the problem can be solved. Usually, we recommend you choose off when installing the camera outdoors. This article will be presented in three parts.
1. A Brief Overview of Anti-flicker
Anti-flicker reduces flickering in camera images caused by mismatched frame rates and local electricity frequencies (50Hz or 60Hz). Enabling it allows the camera to sync with the lighting, ensuring a stable, flicker-free image, especially under artificial lights like fluorescent bulbs. The default settings of our products typically match local electricity frequencies, but if you need to adjust the Anti-flicker setting, check your local frequency (50Hz or 60Hz) and set the camera to the same.
