Battery Recharge Cycles and Lifespan
Normally the batteries can be recharged about 500 times, and the battery life is affected by many factors and also varies from your settings, usage & working environment.
Please kindly note that when batteries are used repeatedly, they lose capacity as the number of charge cycles increases. Until they are eventually considered to have reached the end of their useful life, which is normal for all lithium batteries, just like the battery in your smartphone.
Understanding Reolink Camera Battery Performance
The table below provides insights into the battery life of Reolink cameras in Standard Mode, which operates based on PIR triggering and wakes up for 300 seconds per day. It includes:
- Battery life on a full charge: This column estimates how long a camera can run on a single full charge under standard operating conditions.
- Solar panel included in the bundle: Refers to the solar panel provided in the camera and solar panel bundle. (Higher-wattage Reolink solar panels can also be used)
- Daily sunlight required to maintain continuous power: The minimum daily sunlight duration needed to ensure the camera never runs out of power in Standard Mode.
