Refer to the following methods step by step, then you will know how to initially set up Reolink PoE cameras via Reolink Client.

Notes:
- Before the initial setup, download the Reolink Client in the Download Center.
- You need to power on your camera properly before the initial setup.
There are three methods to set up your PoE cameras on the Reolink client: Scan Device in LAN, Input IP/Domain, and Input UID Number.
Method 1. Scan Device in LAN
Note: Please connect your PC to the same router as the camera.
Step 1. Launch the Reolink Client and click the “+” icon.
Step 2. Find the uninitialized camera by scanning in LAN, and then click the “+” button. You can hit the refresh button if your camera does not show up immediately.
Step 3. Create a password for your camera, and click Next.
Step 4. Name your camera, and click Finish.
Done! You can get a live view of your camera now.
Method 2. Input IP/Domain
Step 1. Launch Reolink Client and click the “+” icon.
Step 2. Select IP/Domain, and enter the IP address or Domain and the port number of your camera. Then click Add button.
Notes:
- You need to find the IP address on your router.
- The IP address can be either a LAN IP or a WAN IP. If you want to use a WAN IP or domain, please perform port forwarding in your router first.
Now you will enter the same pages for creating a password and name for your camera as in Step 3 and Step 4 in Method 1.
Method 3. Input UID
Step 1. Launch the Reolink Client and click the “+” icon.
Step 2. Click UID. Enter the UID number of your camera. Then click Add button.

Now you will enter the same pages for creating a password and name for your camera as in Step 3 and Step 4 in Method 1.
