For the WiFi cameras that have a LAN Port and support the two-way audio function, here are guides on how to set them up initially via the Reolink App and the Reolink Client.
Applies to: Reolink E1 Outdoor, E1 Outdoor Pro, E1 Zoom/E1 Pro/E1 (with an LAN port), TrackMix WiFi, Reolink Doorbell WiFi, FE-W.
Via Reolink App
Note: Download the latest app from the Download Center or scan the QR code to download and install Reolink App first.
There are two methods to do the initial setup:
1. with a Wi-Fi connection. 2. with a network cable connection.

1. With a Wi-Fi Connection
Step 1. Tap the icon in the top right corner to add the camera.
Step 2. Scan the QR code on the camera.
Step 3. Tap Choose Wi-Fi Connection to configure the Wi-Fi settings.
Make sure the camera is powered and turned on, and tap Next.
Step 4. After you hear the voice prompts from the camera, tick “I have heard the voice played by the camera” and tap Next.
Step 5. Select a WiFi network, enter the WiFi password, and tap Next.
Note: The camera E1 only supports a WiFi frequency of 2.4GHz.
Step 6. Scan the QR code on the app with the camera lens.
Tap Scan Now. The QR code will be generated and displayed on your phone. Please hold your phone in front of the camera at a distance of about 20 cm (8 inches) and have the phone face the camera lens to let the camera scan the QR code.
After you hear the beep sound, tick “I have heard a beep sound from the camera” and tap Next.
Step 7. After you hear a voice prompt “Connection to the router succeeded” from the camera, tick “I have heard the voice prompt” and tap Next.
Note: If you hear the voice prompt “Connection to the router failed”, double-check if you have entered the Wi-Fi information correctly in the previous step.Step 8. Create a login password and name your camera.
Step 9. Initialization finished. Tap Finish, and you can start live viewing now.

2. With a Network Cable Connection
To do the initial setup, power on the camera with the DC adapter, connect the camera to your router's LAN port with an Ethernet cable, and follow the steps below.
Step 1. If your phone, the camera, and the router are on the same network, and you've enabled the Add Device Automatically option in the App Settings, you can tap and select this device on the Devices page and skip to Step 3.
Otherwise, you can tap the icon in the top right corner and scan the QR code on the camera to add the camera.
Step 2. Tap Choose Network Cable Connection.
Make sure that the camera is connected in the correct way, as shown in the diagram, and then tap Access the Camera.
Step 3. Create a device password and name the device.
Step 4. Select the WiFi network that you want to join, enter the password of the WiFi network, and tap Save to save the configuration.
Step 5. Initialization finished. Tap Finish, and you can start live viewing now.
Tips: You can remove the network cable from the camera and check if the connection has changed to WiFi.
Note: If the camera cannot connect to the WiFi after you remove the Ethernet cable, you can connect it to the router to set the WiFi again, as instructed in How to Change WiFi for Battery-Powered and WiFi Cameras via Reolink App.
Via Reolink Client
Note: Before the initial setup, download the Reolink Client in the Download Center.
There are two methods to do the initial setup:
1. With a Wi-Fi connection. 2. With a network cable connection.

With a Wi-Fi Connection
Step 1. Please click the “+” icon and choose the UID option to enter the UID of your camera. Then click the blue Add button.
For how to find the UID, please refer to How to Find the UID of Your Device
Note: If your network includes a home hub, the page follow will appear. In that case, select your preferred method for adding.
Step 2. Click Wi-Fi, and then click Confirm.
Step 3. Reset the camera and choose I have heard ding sounds from the camera after you hearing the sound and click Next.
Step 4. Enter the Wi-Fi name and password manually for this camera, click the right eye icon under the Wi-Fi password option to make sure that you entered the right Wi-Fi password, and then click Next.
Note: The camera E1 only supports a Wi-Fi frequency of 2.4GHz.
Step 5. You will see a QR code will be generated and displayed on the screen of your PC. Please place the camera lens in front of the QR code on your PC at a distance of about 20cm (8 inches) to let the camera scan the QR code.
You can click the magnifier button to enlarge the QR code.
After you hear a beep sound from the camera, it means that the camera has successfully recognized the QR code. Please click Next.
Step 6. You will hear the voice prompt saying “connection to the router succeeded”, and then click Next.
Step 7. You will get into the initialization process. Please create a device password for this camera and confirm the password. Then click Finish.
Note: The username is “admin” by default, and the password is blank/no password by default.
Now you have finished the initial setup for this camera on your PC client, and you can live view and make other configuration settings for this camera.

With a Network Cable Connection
To do the initial setup, power on the camera with the DC adapter, connect the camera to your router's LAN port with an Ethernet cable, and follow the steps below.
Step 1. Please click the “+” icon, and if your PC is connected to the same router as the camera, it can be scanned automatically on this page.
You could hit the refresh button if your camera is not displayed immediately.
Step 2. Click the Add icon.
Note: If your network includes a home hub, the page follow will appear. In that case, select your preferred method for adding.
Step 3. Click Network Cable, and then click Confirm.
Step 4. Then you will need to set the password and name for the camera as Step 7 in the first method.
