Reolink battery-powered Cameras with smart Person/Vehicle Detection support setting up non-detection zone to reduce false alarms. Here we will guide you on how to set the detection zone via Reolink Client.

Step 1. Launch Reolink Client and log in to the camera, then go to Device Settings > Alarm Settings > Motion Detection.


Step 2. Go to Non-Detection Zone to customize the detection zone for different alarm types.


Step 3. Click Set Up to create a zone over the area where you don't want to receive alerts for different alarm types. Please don't forget to click the Save button to save your settings.


  1. The alarm types may be slightly different according to different camera models.
  2. Motions in the area covered with GREY grids will not be detected.
  3. For alarm types like Person, you can use the pen to draw no-alarm zones, and use the eraser to modify the drawn zone; For the "Others" alarm type, you can only Add all Detection Zone and Delete all Detection Zone.
