For some battery-powered cameras which support smart person, vehicle, and pet or animal detection, you may follow the steps below to set up the email notification as you want.
Applies to: Argus 3 Pro, Argus 3 (2K), Reolink Go Plus, Reolink Go PT Plus, Reolink Duo, Reolink Duo 4G, Reolink Duo 2, Reolink Duo 2 LTE, Keen Ranger PT
Step 1. Log into your device on Reolink App, click the Device Settings icon, and tap Email Alerts to enable this function.
Step 2. You can enter email settings now, including the Email address and Email password, SMTP server, and port. Then tap on Save.
Step 3. Tap Schedule to set up a schedule when you'd like to receive the email alerts, click Copy To to copy the settings to other days, and tap Save. You can also choose the Detection Type: Person, Vehicle or Others.
Please note that the detection type included by Keen Ranger PT is Animal, Person, and Others.
Step 3. Go back to the Email Alerts page and check Email Settings. Please enter the recipient’s email address. Please note that the recipient's email address can be the same as the sender’s email address or different from the sender’s address at your choice.
Step 4. Go back to the Email Alerts page and check Email Content: You may choose to attach a picture or video with the motion alert emails or select no attachment if you want text notification only.
Please note that the email content for Keen Ranger PT is Text, Picture, and Text with Picture.
