You may follow the step below to reset your Duo series cameras to factory defaults by pressing the Reset button.

Applies to: Duo (battery), Duo 4G, Duo 2 LTE, Duo PoE, Duo 2 PoE, Duo 3 PoE, Duo WiFi, Duo 2 WiFi, Duo 3 WiFi, Duo Floodlight PoE, Duo Floodlight WiFi, Duo 2V PoE, and Duo 3V PoE.

Duo (battery), Duo 4G, and Duo LTE.

Step 1. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the lower part of the semi-dome cover from the camera, and then open the rubber cover.

Step 2. Turn ON the power switch button to power the camera.

Step 3. Find the reset hole( it is right next to the micro SD card slot). And then insert the reset needle into the reset hole of your camera.

Step 4. Press the reset hole and hold for about 10-15 seconds until you hear a kind of tone sound/short music from this camera, then release the reset button.

Duo PoE, Duo WiFi, Duo 2 PoE, Duo 2 WiFi, Duo 3 PoE, Duo 3 WiFi, Duo Floodlight PoE, and Duo Floodlight WiFi.

Step 1. Power off the camera. And use a screwdriver to unscrew the metal cover from the camera.

Step 2. Find the reset hole( it is right next to the micro SD card slot). And then insert the reset needle into the reset hole of your camera. Power on the camera while you press the reset hole.

Step 3. Press the reset hole and hold for about 10-15 seconds, release the reset button, then you will hear a kind of tone sound/short music from this camera, which means the camera is reset successfully.

Duo 2V PoE, and Duo 3V PoE.

The reset button is next to the microSD card slot.

Step 1. Power off the camera.

Step 2. Unscrew the SD card cover, press the reset button for 5-10 seconds.

Step 3. Power on the camera, hold on the reset button until you hear a musical tone, release reset button. Done!

Note: Please ensure that your camera is properly powered on. You can confirm if the camera is powered on by checking if the IR light/spotlight is on.
