Smart Person and Vehicle Detection

Based on traditional motion detection, smart person/vehicle detection is a more advanced technology with further optimized algorithms to reduce false alarms and filter person/vehicle events from all movements.

For more accurate detection and fewer unwanted alarms, you can customize the detection zone, sensitivity, object size, and camera recording schedule for the person and vehicle detection on Reolink App/Client. Take the recording schedule as an example here.

Auto-tracking

Auto tracking uses advanced technology that consists of both detection and tracking. The camera will automatically detect, follow, and even record a specific vehicle or person in the cover area.

For how to set up this function for the camera, please refer to the below guide:

Preset and Cruise

A Preset is a user-defined position of the camera‘s pan tilt and zoom settings. Creating camera presets in advance can allow it to go to the wanted monitoring positions easily.

Cruise means that you can specify the scanning route of the camera through a set of presets. The camera will scan according to the preset cruising speed and staying time.

You can set this function on the Reolink App or the Reolink client.

Siren

A camera with an audio alarm or siren can make a loud prolonged sound as a signal or warning when the camera detects motion alarms.

You can set this function on the Reolink app or the client.

Spotlight

When an alarm event is detected, it will be automatically turned on, and the spotlight can also add light sources to produce full-color images.

By default, the Night Mode is set as Auto.

Two-way Audio

Two-way audio enables you to receive and transmit audio through the IP camera. Reolink cameras that support Two-way audio have a built-in speaker and microphone, you could talk through the camera via your Reolink app/client when you are far away from home.
