This guide will walk you through the installation process for the outdoor security mount of your Reolink Go PT S Lite camera and solar panel.
Installation Methods and Steps
Step 1. Attach the Antenna
Screw the antenna onto the camera and adjust its direction after installation.
Step 2. Choose a Mounting Location
Select a suitable installation location before mounting the camera. Refer to this article for guidance: Reolink Camera Installation Tips
Step 3. Secure the Camera
There are 3 methods to install the Reolink Go PT S Lite. Choose one installation method based on your mounting scenario.
Method 1. Mount the Camera to the Wall
Required Tools & Accessories
1. Use the mounting hole template to drill holes in the wall with a power drill. Insert the included anchors into the holes and tighten them securely.
2. Secure the camera to the wall using the screws.
Method 2. Mount the Camera to the Ceiling
Required Tools & Accessories
1. Use the mounting template to drill holes in the ceiling with an electric drill. Insert the included anchors into the holes and tighten them securely.
2. Secure the camera to the ceiling using the screws.
Method 3. Install the Camera with Loop Strap
If you plan to mount the camera to a tree, you are recommended to use the strap.
Thread the strap through the bracket and fasten it securely around a tree.
Step 4. Install Reolink Solar Panel (Optional)

Note:
- If your camera does not come with a solar panel, but solar charging is needed, please purchase a Reolink solar panel separately.
- This camera is compatible with Reolink Solar Panel (3W) and Reolink Solar Panel 2 (6W).
- The Solar Panel Mounting Template is intended for use with Option 2 installation only.
Installation Options and Steps
There are two options for solar panel installation. Choose one installation option based on your mounting scenario.
Option 1. Mount the solar panel directly on the top of the camera
Step 1. Loosen the ball joint. Secure the bracket to the top of the camera using the two short screws (align with the two mounting holes), then tighten the ball joint.
Step 2. Align the ball joint screw on the bracket with the hole on the panel, then rotate the solar panel tightly.
Step 3. Connect the solar panel to the camera with the cable. Make sure the USB-C connector is plugged in all the way for a weatherproof seal.
Step 4. Loosen the nut counterclockwise to adjust the solar panel angle for maximum sunlight exposure. Tighten the nut clockwise to secure the panel.
Option 2. Mount the solar panel separately from the camera
Step 1. Loosen the ball joint. Use the solar panel mounting template to mark and drill holes in the wall. Secure the bracket using the long screws, then tighten the ball joint.
Step 2. Align the ball joint screw on the bracket with the hole on the panel, then rotate the solar panel tightly.
Step 3. Connect the solar panel to the camera with the cable. Make sure the USB-C connector is plugged in all the way for a weatherproof seal.
Step 4. Loosen the nut counterclockwise to adjust the solar panel angle for maximum sunlight exposure. Tighten the nut clockwise to secure the panel.
