Reolink AI Video Search+ helps you quickly search through your event history using everyday language in your Cloud library. Using AI, AI Video Search + can find specific activity or objects captured by your Reolink cameras and doorbells, giving you a better sense of what’s going on around your home or business.
Note: AI Video Search + will be available during specific cloud storage service plans.
Setting up Reolink Cloud AI Video Search+
Step 1. Subscribe and Link Your Cameras.
Subscribe to the Reolink Upgraded Series Plan and link your camera(s) to the active plan. See How to Create a Cloud Account and Bind Cameras to the Cloud Plan via Reolink App.
Step 2: Enable AI Video Search + per Camera
Go to Device Settings to activate or deactivate AI Video Search + for individual cameras at any time.
Please note: The AI Video Search + feature is device-specific. Each camera has its own "Cloud AI-powered Features" toggle in the subscription settings. To enable this feature for multiple cameras or newly added cameras, you’ll need to turn it on individually for each one.
Using Cloud AI Video Search+
To use Cloud AI Video Search+, simply type what you're looking for in the Search Bar found in your Event History. You can search for specific and detailed activity, like "red truck in my backyard" or "black dog playing" (up to 200 characters).
By default, Cloud AI Video Search+ returns the most relevant videos.
If you’re searching for a query with reference to a specific timeframe, try to use the date filter.
Why Is Reolink Cloud AI Video Search+ not Working as Expected on Some of my Devices?
Your camera must be linked to an active cloud plan that supports AI Video Search +. Only videos uploaded after enabling AI Video Search+ on the camera can be searched.
If you're seeing a No Videos Yet result, try simplifying or broadening your search terms. Please note that searches containing the following may not return results:
- Overly specific queries, such as exact facial features
- Descriptions that are too vague or unclear

Very small or fast-moving objects

Questions (e.g., “Did someone come in?”)

Misspelled keywords

Inappropriate or discriminatory language
Reolink Cloud AI Video Search+ currently only works for customers using English language. Additionally:
- To access this feature, a Reolink Upgraded Series Plan is needed.
- Availability depends on specific countries/regions and supported devices (see Introduction to Reolink Cloud AI).
- Advanced Data Protection of this device must be disabled to use AI Video Search+.
