2. Compatibility and Mounting Hole Positions

The NVR mounting bracket plate includes multiple hole sets designed for different models:

• Rack Holes (Position 6):
  Use the outermost four holes to mount into a standard 19-inch rack.
• Hole B (Position 8):
  For RLN16-410, RLN36, NVS16, NVS36, RP-PN16 wall installations.
• Hole C (Position 9):
  For RLN8-410, RLN12W, NVS8, NVS12W, RP-PN8 wall installations.

Notes:

1. Hole A is reserved for future compatibility and does not apply to current models.”
2. Each hole type has four positions (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right). Always use all four holes per set to ensure stability and proper alignment.

To ensure a smooth installation process, let's first familiarize ourselves with the included parts:

• 1 × Mounting plate (rack mount bracket)
• 2 × Side brackets (left and right)
• 1 × Mounting template
• 2 × Screw packs:
  • Screws + cage nuts: For attaching the side brackets to the mounting plate (used in both wall and rack installations)
  • Screws + wall anchors: For securing the mounting plate to the wall (used in wall installations)
• 1 × EVA foam pad (for shock absorption and protection)
• 1 × Operational Instructions

4. Bracket Overview

Note:

• The side brackets feature ventilation holes to promote airflow around the NVR.
• When using the bracket as a wall mount rack bracket, ensure the ventilation holes face downward for airflow.

5. Step-by-Step Installation

The RLA-RM1 can be installed in two ways depending on your setup:
Option 1: Wall Installation (Wall Mount Rack Bracket)

1. Note: Ensure the wall can support the combined weight of the bracket and NVR. The surface should be flat and perpendicular to the ground.

   Step 1: Install cage nuts
   Insert the cage nuts into the correct holes on the mounting plate (from the back side), according to your NVR model.

   Step 2: Position the template
   Attach the mounting template to the wall, mark and drill holes. Use a level tool (not included) to keep it perfectly horizontal.                   

   Step 3: Secure the mounting plate
   Fix the plate to the wall using the provided screws. Refer to the diagram for the correct hole positions.

   

   Step 4 (Optional): Add EVA foam
   Attach the EVA foam pads to the side brackets for shock absorption and collision protection.

   

   Step 5: Attach side brackets
   Align the side bracket tabs with the plate edges, then slide them into place. Ensure the ventilation holes face downward.

   

   Step 6: Secure the side brackets
   Adjust the brackets so their circular holes align with the cage nuts. Tighten with the provided screws.
   

   

   

   Step 7: Place the NVR
   Insert the NVR into the mounted bracket. Installation is complete.
